We’re a small workshop, based in Hither Green in South East London, where we spray custom paintwork to bike frames, do mechanical work, as well as offering a Bike Fitting service.
I’m also a British Cycling Level 2 Coach.
Have a look around the site for more info.
Cheers
Matt @ RevampBikes
I’ll take your old frame, prep it, give it a new coat of paint, to your very own design. Lots of examples of previous work in "Photos" if you're after some inspiration.
I can produce custom decals for that truly unique look. I can even match existing manufacturers logos with my digital vinyl cutter.
The cost varies from job to job. Obviously no two bikes are in the same condition, or will be getting the same design. Have a look at the "Costs" section where I've given some guide prices for previous projects.
I coach under the name "Figure 8 Coaching". As a Level 2 Coach I can also help with any number of skills to help improve your riding.
My specialist areas are Track, Cyclocross & Mountain Biking, but I also teach everything from balance bikes upward.
Most of my coaching tends to be at Herne Hill Velodrome, where they run a huge variety of coached sessions, but if you want something more personal drop me a line.
Please note that any coaching needs to be in a controlled environment, so I'm not able to instruct on the open road.
I'm an IBFI Level 1 Bike Fit Technician, which allows me to do a basic bike fit.
This starts with cleat position so, if we haven't done this for you already, this will be the first step. (see below)
We'll then look at where the saddle and handlebars sit, on our bike fitting rig, to get you in the most comfortable position. When the fit is done we'll give you your bike fit measurements, and can also help with transferring your position onto your actual bike.
FYI we're a couple of weeks away from being set up to do this, but if your’re interested drop us a line.
If your bike's in need of a bit of attention to get it running smoothly we can help with that too.
Whether it's just getting your gears or brakes working properly, or a full service, we can do pretty much whatever is needed.
I hold a Level 1 Cytech qualification, so if there's something we can't do, then chances are we'll know someone that can. We're happy to act as a middle man to get you bike back on the road.
Where we apply pressure to the pedals is crucial for both comfort and efficiency.
We're able to position and align your cleats to suit you. We're all different after all.
We can do this for Look Keo, SPD-SL, Speedplay, & SPD cleats.
.....at the moment anyway.
We currently can't do shoe fitting, or fits for more specialist bikes like time trial bikes.
We also can't repair damaged frames, or build wheels.
We do know people that can do all of the above though, so can refer you on if needed.
